My Future!…Well, The Next Few Semesters

So, if you are someone who knows me at all, then you know how obsessed I am with planning things, especially planning class schedules. I must have redone by schedule for this semester 37 times before I got it just right (just ask my friend Al, I showed her every single revision thinking this would be the one!). Speaking of Al, I also offered to make her schedule for her, and I also made my boyfriends schedule! I’m not sure why I’m so into it, but I’m already thinking about next semester and what my days will look like. Not only next semester, but the rest of my college career. It’s getting to be a bit ridiculous, since every time something goes wrong I claim my life is falling apart. One positive piece of information I would like to share is that, if everything goes according to plan, this will be the last semester of having class 5 days a week!

Gifts

On January 25th, 2010, my boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary. This means we’ve celebrated his birthday 4 times, my birthday 3 times, Valentine’s Day 3 times, Christmas 4 times, and our anniversary twice. All these special occasions require gifts, and I am completely out of ideas. I really like making creative gifts for my him, and then buy him something as well. I’ve got that part down, but not the creative part. I’ve made him a scrapbook, a picture book, picture frames, collages, CDs, lists of reasons why I love him, coupon books, etc. I have officially run out of things to make him! I only have 8 days to figure something out.. I need help :(

Loner

I need to stop watching movies by myself because I need to talk to someone about the questions I have. Every time I ask someone if they’ve seen the movie I just watched, either they haven’t, or they saw it a long time ago, so they are absolutely no help to me. Another reason to stop watching movies alone? So I don’t feel like such a loser.

Nine Lives

If I were to be like a cat, and have the privilege of having nine lives, these are the following men I would marry in each life time, in no particular order.

1. Chris Pine. Everyone probably knows him from Star Trek, but I first saw him in Just My Luck starring with Lindsay Lohan.

2. Zach Gilford. This actor is from one of my favorite TV shows Friday Night Lights and also stars in the movie Post-Grad.

3. Ryan McCullough. Many of you will probably know him as my current boyfriend.

4. Peter Petrelli. Now I’m not talking about the actor, Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Peter in the TV show Heroes. I’m talking about the actual character.

5. Chris Carrabba. This is the lead singer of one of my favorite bands, Dashboard Confessional.

6. Kevin Rose. I love him.

7. Jake Gyllenhaal. Just recently starred in the movie Brothers and is also in other very popular movies like Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain.

8. Zac Hanson. Hanson is my all time favorite band, and like most other girls, Zach has always been my favorite.

9. Adrian Grenier. Most people know him from Entourage, but I know him from one of my favorite movies Drive Me Crazy.

Dreams

The other night, I had so many interesting dreams that I just thought I had to share with the very few people who read my blog.

Dream #1: I was at my house with my boyfriend (Ryan), and a lot of my family was there, so it was some kind of holiday. I got my report card in the mail in a Netflix envelope, and for some reason Ryan’s was sent to my house as well, and I got a 2.5 GPA, which included getting a “DQ” in my History class. Apparently, Ryan got really good grades because my entire family wanted his autograph. So, my mom asked him to sign our kitchen counter.

Dream #2: My friend Kayla from Iowa deleted me as a friend on Facebook, and then I noticed she was in a new network and she was transferring colleges, but I don’t remember which college it was. Then, I sent her a message saying, “Are we seriously not friends?”

Dream #3: (This dream is what caused me to wake up at 9am on a weekend) I was in the new Sherlock Holmes movie (not seeing it, actually IN it) and a huge green monster was chasing me. I was hiding in a closet when a man who I’ve never seen before tried to get the monster away from me by throwing some kind of stick at him. I’m not sure if it worked because I woke up immediately after and could not go back to bed.

Friday Night Lights

I hate when I don’t have any friends who watch one of the TV shows I watch. Who am I supposed to talk to about it? When I have questions, I have no one to ask. Maybe I should meet crazy fanatics in a chat room that have no lives and are obsessed with TV shows! I’m sure they can answer all my questions, and more. Does any one watch Friday Night Lights??? Be my friend :)

What is wrong with me?

I have never met someone as unmotivated as I have been lately. I can’t describe why I feel this way. I don’t ever want to do anything. And I know that no one loves school and no one actually wants to study or do homework, but most of the time you still do it. Because you have to. But that’s just not getting through to my brain and I continue to not study for things and procrastinate and be completely lazy. I ditch class or don’t go to work so I can give myself more time to study, but instead, I nap, or go to the mall, or go to the movies, or watch tv, or my favorite, stare at the wall. And because I know I’m not doing anything, I get so stressed out! Even though it’s an easy fix, I continue to do nothing to keep myself stressed. Someone slap me in the face and wake me up.

Food & Procrastination

Tonight, my dinner consisted of..

..cellery with ranch dressing, a chocolate milk shake, and chips and dip. It was healthy and delicious.

Also tonight, I have done everything imaginable to avoid studying for my Calc 2 exam, including writing this blog. I watched an episode of a tv show for the second time in less than 24 hours. I hung out with Al and took ridiculous pictures using PhotoBooth. I did homework that doesn’t even exist. I went grocery shopping at a gas station with my mom. Lastly, I watched part of the Cubs game. I never watch baseball. I really don’t want to study for this exam. The thing is, math is kind of sort of my major. So Calc 2 is the most important class I’m taking right now.. yet I haven’t opened the book until tonight. It’s a problem. So I should probably go find something else to do while I avoid studying.

Three Types Of People

After working as a waitress for only less than 3 weeks, I’ve already realized something. There are only 3 types of people.

Type 1: Dumb People. Yes, there are people out there that still can’t do basic math. They’re old enough and smart enough to own a credit card, but unfortunately can’t add 2 numbers together.

Type 2: Rude People. These people like to tip waitresses less than 10%, or just not tip at all! It makes my day so much better.

Type 3: Average People. They tip between 10%-15%, and that is a-okay with me.

I wish there were more type 3 people, or the non-existent type 4 people, above average people. I have yet to encounter one.
